The first tomatoes will be ready to harvest when they’re turning bright red after approximately 65 days.
Prune the top of the plant when it reaches the ideal height. This will limit the height growth of the tomato plant and increase the harvest.
Tomatoes are annual plants that usually perish with the first frost. When kept indoors however they can keep growing through the winter.
