  • Cut the lettuce head close to the base. Since the lettuce doesn’t form compact heads leaves can also easily be harvested individually.
  • The lettuce will regrow from the base up to three times, but the leaves will be smaller after each harvest.
  • Make sure to harvest the lettuce before it starts developing flowers or it will grow bitter in taste.
