Curly parsley is one of the most used herbs as an ornamental garnish. The leaves of this variety are really curly and have a beautiful dark green tone and a mild bitter taste. Parsley is largely used in Mediterranean dishes, such as pasta, dressings, salads and soups.
Once the first leaves appear, pick out the largest plant and discard smaller plants by simply picking them with your fingers or by cutting them at base using a micro tip pruning snip.
You can gather parsley stems and leaves as needed.
Harvest parsley by sniping the leafy stems from the base of the plant.
At the end of its regular season the parsley leafs color are gonna start to fade away, once you notice this color change it’s recommended to completely harvest your plant as the flavor will start declining.
